to the franken switzerland

i am staying with my cousins roland and doris and their two children lea and pia in a small town called möhrendorf about 25 km away from nürnberg. because they know how much i love tourists, my hosts are kind enough to drive us on a family outing to the franken switzerland. below are a few highlights, though there are stunning moments that go beyond photographs.

this slide is called the sommerrenrodel.. or summer luge. much like hood's alpine slide only faster and with tighter turns. not to mention a grand location for tourist seeking.

locals watch tourists who are lured to this attraction

we traveled to where an alley ended at trail, and hiked to a höhle.. or cave. carrying torches we explored within. this cave is lined by candles, that remain lit, and maintained by residents and visitors. we contributed ours upon exit.

an attempt to capture this cave by candle light and slow shutter. with the help of a few filters.
