we drove to the freibad for swimming and relaxing (faulenzen). do not be confused with the word free bath (freibad) it costs money to enter. so it must be more about a state of being.

i found myself inspired to sketch the freibad experience.

a sign below these trees marks this area as the ruhigzone.. or peaceful zone.

at home we decide to start a small fire.. this the swedish method. bore a log from the top, meet it at the side with a horizontal tunnel. if all goes well, the flame should last about 3 hours.
